Our Story

Josh and I "officially" met in 2007. There was just a little issue... I was in 9th grade people a mere 14 years young at the time. And him.. well he was 20, graduated from high school, going to college and working a full time job. This might not seem like a big deal to some people.. but to everyone in our lives it was a crazy hot mess. We met at church, he was the worship leader, and I found him to be quite attractive. After tons of late night talks, and getting to know each other he finally approched my dad and asked if he could take me on a date, with a group of our friends. My dad agreed, which was surprising to me since my daddy is so protective of me. Love that guy.

Our first date, with our friends, we went to see the game plan. I loved the movie, and Josh was so sweet the entire night. The next weekend we went out again with the same group of friends to see another movie. We just had so much fun when we were together, and it didn't matter that we were with so many other people when we were on our dates because it was special.

I'll never forget the first night Josh ever came to my house, we just sat on the couch and watched tv with my family, cheesy I know but to us it didn't matter.. we were together and that was enough.

We went through so much together, to Josh being in school with a crazy insane schedule. To me going through a few different surgeries and him never leaving my side. To all the crazy things in between. No matte what we went through we were always there for each other, and we always stuck together and made it right though. WE had so many good times, and we had just as many bad.. but because of the struggles we have been through it has made us so much stronger. It's one of the many reasons we are where we are today. Because of our love for each other, and I know that this guy will be my forever one and only and he's going to be the best daddy to our little boy too!

In January of 2011 Josh proposed to me, it wasn't very out of the blue since we were always talking about getting married. But it was so special and memorable, and I wish I had pictures to show you of the silly day, but I don't.

We planned the wedding for August 12, 2011 and it was the best day of my life! I love Josh with my entire heart, and marrying him was my little fairytale, and we are living proof that age doesn't matter and that relationships don't have to be perfect to end up perfectly!

In October 2011 we found out we were going to have a baby! We were surprised and so happy! My pregnancy started out really rough, with lots of dr.s visits and special trips to the hospital for high tech ultrasounds, but everything turned out SO perfect and our little boy is due on July 8 2012. Which means I was about 2/3 weeks pregnant when we found out... YIKES.

And everyday since then we have been preparing for baby, and living life together to its fullest. We couldn't be happier!
