1. Snugabunny Rock and play: We have used this since Lyric was 5 days old. Now we use it several times throughout the day and honestly probably couldn't go without it.I use it especially in the mornings when I need to get up and brush my teeth or throw some new clothes on or whatever. He sits in it for about 15-30 minutes and usually watches half an episode of yo gabba gabba. Then I usually drag it around the house with me throughout the day, in the Kitchen while I cook, his room while I fold/organize/put away his clothes. Or in the bathroom with me while I shower lately.
2. Desitin Rapid Relief: It says relief from the first use, and it really means it. Since he is teething he has been getting more and more rashes lately and I usually just have to apply this one time and the rash is gone by the next diaper change. There are several different types but this is our favorite.
3. Carrot Plush Toy: We found this guy while browsing ikea a few weeks ago and Lyric is in love. He's squeeky, cute and easy to throw back into his carseat if he gets fussy in the car. And he has carrot leaf shorts.. I mean come on!
4. S1 by Safety First Trivecta Stroller in Mckenna: I use this stroller literally every time we go somewhere besides someones house or church. Its durable, comfortable and I like the simple black design. I also decided on this because we got the s1 by safety first air carseat in Mckenna and it matched really well. My only complaints are that I get the back tires stuck when I turn corners sometimes since its a little wider, and the two umbrellas don't meet up, one is wider than the other. Other than that we love using this stroller!
5. Shoe socks: We haven't tried real shoes on Lyric yet, and I don't really want to. I hate wearing shoes so why would I put them on my baby until he needs them. Ha. These are the next best thing. They are the perfect thickness, and adorable! We don't have these exact ones but we have some similar and also a few pairs that were gifts.
6. Carters Swaddling Blankets:(linked to same blankets, different design they don't sell the guitar ones anymore) We got three packs of these blankets as gifts and I LOVE them. We got three of the same design, but I honestly don't mind. We use them all the time, every day for everything. I wash them like normal with the rest of his laundry once/twice a week and they stay clean, soft and durable no matter what. I put one in the carseat everytime we leave the house and another in my bag everywhere we go. If I need to lay him down on the ground to play or to do whatever these are the perfect size and he doesn't have to lay directly on the floor. I've used them as burp rags, to put over his carseat and when I forget my nursing cover I use it for that too. We used them to swaddle him when he was freshly- born as well. Lots of people rave about that A&A blankets, which I have never tried but these are fine for us!
7. Portable Changing Pad: I got mine at babies r us with giftcards the night after my baby shower. I basically just threw it in the cart just because. I'm so glad I did. Now that we go out more, whether it be to eat or grocery shop or to visit friends/family we use this all the time. I even use it at church on top of their changing pad just so I don't get theirs dirty. It comes in a handy little bag that I keep in my diaper bag at all times. This is the perfect size bag to fit a travel wipes case, the changing pad, and two or three extra diapers. I love it!
