Late Resolutions.

Last Sunday I sat in the car on the way home from a Sunday evening service at our church and browsed through my pictures. I wondered why on earth I never use a real camera, and not one good excuse came to mind. We have no less than 5 cameras in our 3 person household.. And one of those people doesn't even know how to control a camera, so ugh that's a lot of cameras. Most of them are simple point and shoots, but one - from my mom when she upgraded- is pretty fancy. I made a vow to myself to make sure I start breaking out a real camera every day and taking pictures of something.

My most favorite subjects are of course my family. So as we got home that evening I made J. get dressed so I could take some pictures of him and Lyric and see just exactly how skilled I was at this picture taking thing... And what-do-ya know, the REAL camera is dead. But I made the most of the situation and took pictures anyways. With my iPhone... Go figure.

So my New Years resolution.. A little late, I know... Is to get better at photography, invest in a better camera (my eye is on a canon rebel). Since I discovered that I LOVE taking pictures it makes me excited to learn more and discover the possibilities. Who knows maybe I can make something out of my new hobby!
