Now that Lyric is 6 months old he is a lot better at entertaining himself. It make it nice to be able to do the dishes, or throw laundry in. Or honestly make a cup of coffee with two hands! Well, on Tuesday I decided to join him. I set up his big play-mat and a bug fluffy blanket next to it. Set a bagillion and one toys up around them and let him go to town. Of course, he only wanted to play with one of the toys, but it still melted my heart. He knows how to sit up now too, and it pretty much gives him big boy status. I love it, but wish he was still a little bitty squish sometimes too.

I'm pretty much in love with this age, I think that at every age. But this one is my favorite... for now at least. He is learning SO much and, growing SO much. He has become very aware of who is parents are. If J. or I walk out of the room he freaks out.. more so when I leave. Or if he is in the swing or on the floor playing at home and one of us walks away, he will make noises and screech until we return. Then its all smiles and giggles when we come closer. He melts my heart.
